Understanding your analytics dashboard
Discover the KPIs, charts and performance indicators available in the Wasal Seller Portal to steer your sales.
On this page
The analytics dashboard brings together all your performance data in a single place. It is designed for sellers who want to track their revenue, identify their best-selling products and understand how visitors behave on their store.
Accessing the analytics dashboard
Log in to the Seller Portal at seller.wasal.com, then click Analytics dashboard in the left-hand side menu.
If you have just created your account, some indicators will display 0 until your first data comes through. This is normal for a recent account or one that is still being tested.
The 3 main KPIs
At the top of the page, three cards summarize your overall performance.
GMV — Gross Merchandise Value
The GMV (gross value of the goods sold) represents the total amount of all your orders, before deducting Wasal commissions, returns or fees. It is your gross revenue on the marketplace.
Average Order Value
The average order value is the average value of an order placed in your store. It is calculated by dividing your GMV by the total number of orders. The higher it is, the more each buyer spends with you.
Payouts
Payouts correspond to the amount actually paid into your bank account by Wasal. Unlike GMV, they reflect what you receive after deducting commissions and any returns. Comparing GMV and Payouts gives you an idea of your marketplace fees.
The GMV, Average Order Value and Payouts KPIs have no time-period filter — they display historical totals since your store opened. For a view by period, use the charts further down the page.
Your store traffic
Below the KPIs, a block displays four traffic metrics:
| Metric | What it measures |
|---|---|
| Store views | Total number of visits to your store page since the beginning |
| Store views (30 days) | Visits to your store page over the last 30 days |
| Product views | Total number of times your product pages have been displayed since the beginning |
| Product views (30 days) | Displays of your product pages over the last 30 days |
These metrics are static values (no associated chart). They let you gauge whether your store is attracting recent traffic or whether it is stagnating.
The performance charts
Payouts chart — last 7 days
A vertical bar chart displays your payouts day by day over the last 7 days. The horizontal axis shows the dates (e.g. 08/04, 09/04…), and the vertical axis the amounts in MAD.
This chart is fixed to a rolling 7-day window. There is no button to change the period to 30 days or 3 months in the current interface.
Products sold chart — current year
A monthly chart displays the change in the number of products sold month by month over the current calendar year (from January to December).
This chart lets you spot your slow months and your sales peaks over the year.
Best-selling products
This section displays a grid of your best-selling products, with image, name and price. Scroll horizontally to see all the products.
Most-viewed products
A ranked list (from rank 1 to rank 10 and beyond) displays the products most viewed by buyers, along with a pie chart showing the relative share of each product in the total number of views.
Two tabs are available:
- All time — full history since your store opened
- Last 30 days — the products attracting the most attention right now
How to use this data to boost your sales
Here are four concrete actions you can take from this dashboard:
If the gap between your GMV and your Payouts seems significant, see the article Understanding your payments for a breakdown of the commissions and returns deducted.
Compare your most-viewed products with your best sellers. A product that is viewed a lot but absent from the top sales often signals a problem with price, photos or description.
Use the monthly chart to anticipate dips in activity. A slow period is a good time to expand your catalog or adjust your prices.
If your store views over 30 days are falling compared with your all-time history, your store is losing visibility. See Visibility and marketing for corrective actions.
Current limitations
The analytics dashboard is under continuous improvement. As of today:
- No global time-period filter (the KPIs are always historical totals)
- The Payouts chart is limited to the last 7 days with no option to change the period
- No filter by product category
- The monthly chart only displays the current calendar year
If you need a finer level of detail for your accounting or reporting, complement it with the Billing section of the portal.
