Your Wasal store settings
Configure your Wasal store: information, logo, banner, social media, availability, notifications and public holidays.
On this page
Your store settings define your identity on Wasal: your logo, your banner, your legal information and your visibility in search engines. This article covers the 7 tabs available in the My store section of the Seller Portal.
Accessing the settings
Go to seller.wasal.com and log in with your seller credentials.
In the left-hand side menu, click My store then Settings. You will land directly on the General tab.
General tab — visuals, information and SEO
This is the most important tab. It brings together everything that defines the appearance and presence of your store on Wasal.
Store visuals
| Element | Accepted format | Constraint |
|---|---|---|
| Banner | All image formats | Recommended size: 1200 x 300 px |
| Logo | JPEG, JPG, PNG | Max size: 3 MB |
A polished banner and a clean logo immediately increase buyer trust. Use a neutral background image and make sure your logo is legible on both a white and a dark background.
Store information
Fill in the following fields to complete your official profile:
- Store name — the name shown to buyers
- Legal name — the legal name of your company
- ICE — Identifiant Commun de l'Entreprise (mandatory for companies)
- RCE — Trade Register (Registre de Commerce) number
- Billing address, Postal code, City
Three fields are read-only and cannot be modified: Wasal ID (e.g. WA-SH-25-XXXXXXXX), SEO slug and Web URL. These values are assigned by Wasal when your account is created. Choose them carefully during the initial setup — no change is possible afterwards.
SEO Bio — your store description
The Bio field accepts up to 500 characters (counter displayed in real time). This description appears on your store page and contributes to your organic search ranking.
A few tips for an effective bio:
- Start with your main activity ("Store specializing in…")
- Include 2-3 keywords that your buyers actually use
- End with an invitation to explore your products
Performance score
At the bottom of the General tab, a panel displays your seller performance score out of 100, with a letter grade (A to E) and a text label. This score summarizes the overall quality of your store. To learn how to read it and which actions improve it, see the dedicated article: Understanding your seller score.
Check this score regularly to catch a problem before it affects your visibility on the marketplace.
Once you have made your changes, click Save changes at the bottom of the page.
Availability tab — temporary closure
This tab lets you temporarily close your store, for example during a holiday period or a stock count.
Turn on the Store offline toggle to suspend access to your store.
Provide the start date (first day of closure) and the end date (day of reopening).
Click Save changes to apply.
Turning on "Store offline" immediately cuts off access to your store for all buyers, without any prior warning message. Your products will no longer be visible or purchasable. Use this option with caution and only if you cannot process new orders.
Notification tab
Choose the events for which you want to receive a notification. All boxes are checked by default.
| Notification | When you receive it |
|---|---|
| Delivery | Update to the shipping status of an order |
| Invoice | Generation or update of an invoice |
| Order | New order received or status change |
| Product | Change to one of your products (approval, rejection…) |
| Store | Alerts relating to your store (account, documents…) |
Keep at least the Order and Product notifications enabled so you do not miss an urgent order or a product listing rejection.
Social tab
Enter the URLs of your social media pages. All fields are optional.
- YouTube
- X (formerly Twitter)
These links appear on your store page and let buyers follow your updates. An active social profile strengthens your store's credibility.
Commission tab — view only
This tab displays the table of commission rates applied by Wasal for each product category. It is read-only: you cannot modify these rates. Each subcategory has its own rate — this is where you look up the schedule that actually applies to your products.
You can filter by category name or by universe to quickly find the rate that applies to your products. These rates are set by Wasal and detailed in the contractual terms.
To understand how commissions are deducted from your payments, see the article Understanding your payments and commissions.
API Integrations tab (Beta)
This Beta feature lets you connect your Wasal store to an external e-commerce platform via API.
The API Integrations tab is in Beta. Its behavior may change. If you run into a problem during setup, contact seller support before restarting an integration.
To add an integration, click Add an integration and follow the steps provided.
Public Holidays tab
Wasal automatically preconfigures the 15 Moroccan public holidays for 2026. Each entry shows the name of the holiday, the start and end dates, and its status (Closed / Active).
The list notably includes: New Year's Day, Independence Manifesto Day, Amazigh New Year, Labour Day, Throne Day, Independence Day, and all religious holidays (Eid El Fitr, Eid Al Adha, Ashura, Mawlid An-Nabawi…).
You can edit or disable each entry depending on your activity using the action button at the end of the row.
Branding tips for a professional store
A well-configured store stands out from the very first visit. Here are the highest-impact points:
- Logo: prefer a logo on a transparent or white background, in PNG format, at least 400 x 400 px before resizing.
- Banner: use the colors of your brand guidelines and add a short tagline about what you sell. Avoid overly busy visuals — the banner should be readable in 2 seconds.
- SEO bio: use the 500 characters to describe precisely your products, your target audience and what sets you apart. This is content indexed by search engines.
- Social media: even if you are only active on one network, fill it in — it humanizes your store.
If something goes wrong
If the Save changes button does not respond or a change is not taken into account:
- Check that you are logged in with an active and verified seller account.
- Refresh the page and try again.
- If the problem persists, contact support via the Seller Portal chat, mentioning the tab concerned.
For any question about a read-only field (SEO slug, Wasal ID), only Wasal support can intervene.
