You have just logged in to the Wasal Seller Portal for the first time. This article walks you through each area of the interface so that you feel comfortable from your very first use.

Accessing the portal

Go to seller.wasal.com and log in with your credentials. You land directly on the dashboard home page.

If you have not logged in yet, first read the article Logging in to the Seller Portal.

Overview of the home page

As soon as you log in, you see a welcome message — "Welcome to your Seller Portal!" — along with a promotional banner that changes depending on the period. Below it, you find your table of recent orders and your most recently added products.

Everything you need on a daily basis is accessible from this page or through the sidebar on the left.

The sidebar: your main menu

The sidebar groups all sections of the portal into three blocks.

OVERVIEW

  • Home page — the dashboard you see when you log in.
  • Analytics dashboard — your sales, visit and performance statistics.

MANAGEMENT

  • My products — create, edit and publish your product listings. This menu is expandable: click on it to see the sub-sections.
  • Engaging Moments — a Wasal-specific feature to enliven your catalog (expandable menu).
  • My orders — the complete list of all your orders with status filters.
  • My invoices — your seller invoices, generated automatically.

SETTINGS

  • My users — manage access if you have several team members (expandable menu).
  • Collections list — organize your products into collections (expandable menu).
  • My returns — track returns initiated by buyers.
  • Import status — check the status of a bulk catalog import.
  • My cancellations — view cancelled orders.
  • Claims module — handle disputes and customer claims (expandable menu).
  • My store — general settings for your store (name, logo, banner).
  • FAQs — set up a list of frequently asked questions visible on your store page.

Several sidebar entries are expandable menus. Click on the entry to display the sub-sections — they are not visible at first glance.

Other sections exist (Promotions, Offers, Flash Sales, Special Conditions, File Manager) and will be covered in dedicated articles.

The orders table

On the home page, the orders table displays your latest orders with their essential information: order number, delivery provider, payment type, date, number of products, price and status.

The 11 available statuses

You can filter your orders by status using the tabs at the top of the table:

  • All — all of your orders, with no filter
  • Approved — confirmed order, to be prepared
  • Ready To Be Picked Up — parcel ready for collection by the courier
  • Disapproved — order refused
  • Pending — order awaiting processing
  • In Progress — order out for delivery
  • Delivered — order handed over to the buyer
  • Payment Pending — awaiting payment confirmation
  • Cancelled — cancelled order
  • Invoiced — invoiced order
  • Returned / Delivery Failed — parcel returned or not delivered

The tab active by default is "Pending", not "All". If you do not see any orders when you open the page, it does not necessarily mean there are none — click on "All" to display your entire history. This is the most common pitfall for new sellers.

You can also switch to compact table mode using the checkbox at the top of the table, and move between pages with the pagination controls (20 rows per page by default).

The "Latest products" section

At the bottom of the home page, a horizontally scrollable list displays your 10 most recently added products. Each thumbnail shows the product's image, name and price. Clicking on the name takes you directly to the product's edit page.

Some products display two prices: the catalog price (struck through) and the actual selling price. This is normal if you have set up a promotion on that product.
