Understanding your seller score
Where to find your performance score in the Wasal portal, how to read it (grade A to E, percentage) and which concrete actions improve it.
On this page
Your seller score summarizes the overall quality of your store into a single grade. It influences your visibility on the marketplace and is one of the criteria for invitation to Wasal commercial operations (Flash Sales, seasonal campaigns).
Where to view your score
From the Seller Portal, go to My store → Settings → General tab. The Seller Performance panel is at the bottom of the page.
You can also go directly to the URL seller.wasal.com/dashboard/store/settings and then scroll down to the Seller Performance section.
The 3 things to read in the panel
The letter grade
A colored badge displays your grade on a scale of A to E, together with a short label (e.g. "Good", "Room for improvement").
The percentage
At the center of the circular chart, a percentage figure (0 to 100%) gives the precise measure of your performance. It is the numerical representation of the letter grade.
The bar and reference scale
Below the main score, a progress bar and a colored scale A · B · C · D · E show where you stand relative to the other tiers. The colors run from green (best grades) to red (degraded performance).
The 5 score tiers
| Grade | Color | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| A | Dark green | Excellent performance — top-tier store |
| B | Light green | Good performance — some room for improvement |
| C | Yellow | Fair performance — points of attention to address |
| D | Orange | Weak performance — corrective actions needed |
| E | Red | Degraded performance — risk of sanctions |
Wasal does not publish the exact numerical thresholds that separate each tier. The text label ("Good performance", "Room for improvement"…) shown next to the badge is your best indicator of where you stand.
What influences your score
The score summarizes several service-quality indicators. The factors known to affect it are documented in dedicated articles — work on them individually to raise your overall grade.
| Factor | Reference article |
|---|---|
| SLA deadlines (acceptance, preparation) | SLA and penalties |
| Order cancellations | Viewing and understanding your cancellations |
| Returns and refunds | Managing returns and refunds |
| Customer disputes | Handling a customer dispute |
| Repeated stock-outs | Managing stock and variants |
These factors are the ones documented in the Wasal seller terms. The exact weighting of each is not published — focus on the actions that reduce incidents rather than on a theoretical formula.
Five concrete actions to improve your score
Accept your new orders quickly — 40 minutes maximum for a W-Now order, 12 hours for a W-Comfort. Beyond that, penalties apply. Turn on the Seller Portal push notifications so you never miss anything.
Keep your stock up to date — a stock-out found at the time of processing triggers an automatic cancellation (
out_of_stock). Deactivate a product rather than leaving stock at 0 — details in Managing your cancellations.Take care with packaging and preparation — a damaged parcel = a likely return. Follow the shipping best practices: padding, tape, protected label.
Write accurate product listings — dimensions, materials, true colors, usable photos. A misleading description generates "not as described" returns that durably impact your score. See Increasing the visibility of your products.
Respond to disputes within 48h — 70% of disputes arise from seller silence. The full table of deadlines and evidence to provide is in Handling a customer dispute.
Why your score is strategic
A good score does not only improve your image with buyers — it also determines your access to high-traffic operations. The Wasal Flash Sales select stores with a good seller score visible in My store > Performance among their invitation criteria. A declining score means less organic visibility and fewer promotional opportunities.
In case of a sudden drop
If your score falls over a short period, diagnose in order of potential impact:
- Orders not processed on time — open the Pending and Approved tabs in
My orders, and process the oldest ones first. - Recent cancellations — check
My cancellations. If the reason is a recurringout_of_stock, update your stock immediately. - Open returns —
My returns: decide on pending requests within 48h. - Ongoing disputes —
Orders > Disputes: check that no case is awaiting your response.
Beyond 5% of lost disputes over 30 days or a return rate above 25%, your store may be placed under enhanced monitoring. See SLA and penalties for the exact thresholds.
