Managing returns and refunds

How to access your list of returns on the Wasal portal, filter requests, and process each return efficiently.

This guide is intended for sellers who receive a return request from a buyer. Here you will learn how to find your returns in the portal, read the available information, and process each request.

Before you begin

The My returns section is located under SETTINGS in the left sidebar — not under "Management". If you do not see it, check that your seller account is active.

Your list of returns

Access your list via the direct URL: seller.wasal.com/dashboard/returns/

The table displays the following columns, all sortable by clicking the header:

  • Order no. — unique identifier of the order concerned
  • Delivery type — shipping method used
  • Order date — date the initial order was placed
  • No. of products — number of items in the order
  • Price — total amount of the order
  • Status — current state of the return
  • Actions — icon button to access the details

Filter and export your returns

Several tools are available at the top of the table:

  • Start date / End date: restrict the list to a specific period
  • Text search: type an order number or any other term to filter instantly
  • Export: downloads the list in CSV or Excel format
  • Compact table: reduces row spacing to see more results on screen
  • Rows per page: 20 by default, adjustable from the combobox at the bottom of the table

Processing a return request

The detailed actions below (accept, reject, refund) could not be verified live — the test account contained no returns. The logic described corresponds to the standard operation of the Wasal platform.

  1. 01

In the Actions column, click the icon button at the end of the row to open the details of a return. There you will find the reason for the return, any product photos, and the buyer's comments.

  2. 02
    • Accept: the product will be returned at your expense. You will receive the parcel and must confirm receipt in the portal.
    • Reject: you must provide a justification. The buyer can appeal to Wasal support.
  3. 03

Once the physical return has been received, confirm receipt in the portal. The refund is then processed automatically:

    • The amount is deducted from your next payment
    • The buyer is refunded within 5 business days

Wasal return policy

Buyers can request a return within 7 days of receiving the product, if it is defective or does not match the description.

For the full contractual details, see the seller terms and conditions.

Best practices

  • Respond to return requests within 48 hours — a missed deadline may be reported to Wasal support
  • Accurate product descriptions (dimensions, materials, real photos) reduce the reasons for returns
  • Pack your products carefully to avoid damage in transit
