Registering as a seller on Wasal: complete guide

How to become a seller on Wasal step by step: requirements, required documents (CIN, RC, ICE, RIB), account creation and store validation.

This guide is intended for prospective sellers who wish to join the Wasal marketplace. It covers the eligibility requirements, the documents to prepare and the registration process through to the activation of your store.

Requirements to become a seller

To sell on Wasal, you must:

  • Be of legal age and reside in Morocco
  • Have a legal status (self-employed entrepreneur, legal entity, or individual with tax identification)
  • Hold a Moroccan bank account in the seller's name (or that of the legal entity)
  • Offer products that comply with the platform rules
  • Be able to meet the order processing SLAs

Wasal accepts both individual sellers (self-employed entrepreneurs) and professional sellers (SARL, SA, cooperatives). The required documents differ depending on your status.

Registration steps

  1. 01

    Access request

    Contact the Wasal sales team via the Contact page or the seller application form. Please specify:

    • The type of products you intend to sell
    • Your estimated monthly volume
    • Your legal status (self-employed entrepreneur, SARL, other)
  2. 02

    Pre-qualification interview

    An advisor will contact you within 48 to 72 business hours to confirm that your offering is compatible with the platform and to answer your initial questions about commissions and how everything works.

  3. 03

    Seller Portal account creation

    After sales approval, you will receive an activation email containing:

    • Your login URL for the Seller Portal
    • Your temporary credentials (to be changed at first login)
    • The link to your Identity Verification area
  4. 04

    Document submission

    Log in to the Seller Portal and upload your documents in the dedicated section. Full procedure: Identity verification.

    Store setup

    While your documents are being validated (24 to 48 business hours), you can already:

    Activation and first sale

    Once verification is approved, your store moves to Active status. Your approved products become visible on academy.wasal.com and you can start receiving orders.

Frequently asked questions

Can I sell without having a company? Yes, the self-employed entrepreneur status is sufficient. You are responsible for your tax obligations — see Seller taxation.

My application was rejected, what should I do? Check the explanatory email, correct the reason indicated (illegible document, RIB in the wrong name, expired RC, etc.) and resubmit via the Verification section.

Can I have multiple stores? An individual or legal entity has a single seller account. To manage several activities, use the Create a user feature to grant access to your team.

How much does registration cost? Registration is free. Wasal earns revenue solely through commissions charged on your sales — details in Commissions and fees.
