General rule
It is prohibited to offer on Wasal any item whose offering, sale or acquisition is contrary to applicable laws or public morals.
Any breach may lead to the temporary or permanent suspension of your account, without prejudice to legal proceedings.
Prohibited general categories
The following products are strictly prohibited on the platform:
- Items infringing intellectual property (counterfeiting, trademarks, patents)
- Discriminatory items or items inciting violence or hatred
- Indecent, pornographic content or content contrary to public morals
- Live animals
- Alcohol and drugs of any kind
- Weapons, swords, ammunition
- Stolen goods
- Prohibited medicines and substances
- Advertising or external links (without Wasal's agreement)
- Items requiring a special authorization that has not been obtained
Prohibited electronic products
This list covers technology products that present safety or legal risks.
- Signal jammers (phone, GPS, radar)
- Mobile phone repeaters and amplifiers
- Odometer tampering devices
- Unauthorized TV decoding devices
- Handheld lasers (pointers, laser toys)
- Video game emulators and console modchips
- Smart card programmers
- Spy cameras with audio recording
- Portable credit card readers
- Phones sold with a service contract
- Cylindrical lithium-ion batteries (14500, 16340, 18650, 20700, 21700, 26650)
- Any device that facilitates piracy or unauthorized access to protected content
Prohibited cosmetic products
- Products that are opened, used or whose packaging has been altered
- Products past their expiration date
- Products not sealed in their original packaging
- Products labeled "tester" or "not intended for resale"
- Counterfeit cosmetics
- Decanted perfumes or "scent-alike" perfumes imitating a brand
- Products for exclusive professional use (prescription required)
- Products containing prohibited ingredients (hydroquinone, mercury, etc.)
- Products with misleading claims
- Products tested on animals (where prohibited by regulation)
- Products containing ingredients from endangered species
It is prohibited to use the name of an original perfume to describe another perfume, even with terms such as "similar to" or "inspired by". This includes descriptions, URLs, images and replies to comments.
Prohibited jewelry
- Precious metals not hallmarked in accordance with applicable laws
- Precious metals over 1 g not weighed with certified equipment
- Rough diamonds not compliant with the Kimberley Process
Rules on your seller identity
Your seller username and your comments must never contain links external to Wasal. Your username must not be a domain name and must not include references such as "www", ".fr", ".ma", ".com", ".net", etc.
Consequences in case of counterfeiting
Selling counterfeit products results in the most severe penalties:
Full refund of the price to the customer
Penalty of 5 times the total transaction amount
Permanent ban from accessing the Wasal platform
Legal proceedings possible by Wasal or any aggrieved party
If you are unsure whether a product is eligible, contact the Wasal team before listing it for sale. It is better to check in advance than to risk a suspension.
