The Wasal Fulfillment Center (WFC) is Wasal's outsourced logistics service. You entrust your products to us, and we take care of everything: storage, order preparation, shipping to customers, and returns management — all within a robotized warehouse designed for speed and precision. This guide explains how the service works and how to submit your consignment request.
Introduction video
Before you begin
The WFC is an on-request service, granted after validation by Wasal and the signing of a dedicated WFC contract. Before starting the procedure, contact your Wasal account manager to confirm your eligibility.
What is the Wasal Fulfillment Center?
The WFC is a next-generation logistics warehouse operated by Wasal. As a partner seller, you deliver your stock to us once, and we take over the entire logistics chain:
- Receiving and inspecting the products you deliver to us
- Secure and automated storage in our monitored warehouse
- Preparation, packing and shipping of every customer order
- Management of returns and customer disputes
- Retrieval of your stock upon your request, at any time
You no longer deal with day-to-day logistics: you sell, we deliver.
Robotized logistics
The WFC is one of the first robotized warehouses dedicated to e-commerce in the region. At the heart of the system: a fleet of AGV robots (Automated Guided Vehicles) that move autonomously beneath mobile shelving units to bring products directly to operators at picking time.
In practice, this changes everything for you:
- Order preparation in minutes, not hours — the robots optimize routes and never wait.
- Near-perfect accuracy in picking — no more errors in SKU, quantity or variant. Every scanned item is traced from the shelf to the parcel.
- Extended availability — the system runs continuously and easily absorbs order peaks (campaigns, sales, Ramadan, Black Friday).
- Full traceability of your stock — every movement is recorded in real time and reported in your dashboards.
- Controlled storage conditions — a modern, monitored warehouse compliant with international standards, with comprehensive insurance included.
It is this infrastructure that allows the WFC to meet aggressive delivery times that few players in Morocco can achieve today.
Why consign with Wasal?
The WFC service allows you to:
- Outsource your logistics — focus on selling, delegate operations.
- Reduce your delivery times — centralized stock and robotized preparation speed up shipments.
- Improve the customer experience — every order goes through a quality check before dispatch, in careful packaging in Wasal colors.
- Gain visibility — track your stock levels, goods movements, sales and returns in real time.
- Scale without investing — no need to rent a warehouse, hire staff or invest in a WMS: you benefit from Wasal's infrastructure from your very first order.
Are you eligible?
The WFC service is subject to validation by Wasal. Enrollment is handled on a case-by-case basis, according to criteria defined on the platform. To start the process:
- Contact your Wasal account manager (your usual point of contact for the seller account).
- Discuss with them the products you wish to consign and their specific characteristics.
- If Wasal validates your request, a WFC contract will be sent to you for signing.
The service only becomes effective after this contract is signed.
How to submit a consignment request
Once your eligibility is validated and your contract signed, here are the steps to deposit your stock at the WFC.
Together with your Wasal account manager, sign the consignment contract and specify the products concerned, as well as any particular handling arrangements if necessary.
Send an email to [email protected] stating your supplier code and the details of the quantities to consign (product references + quantities).
Wasal assigns you an appointment number within a maximum of 1 business day after receiving your request. The exact warehouse address is provided to you at that point, along with the time slot.
Pack your products and label each parcel with: delivery note number (BL), Wasal order number, number of parcels or pallets, and a packing list detailing the items and quantities per parcel. Each parcel must weigh less than 30 kg and not exceed 80 × 80 × 80 cm (except for specific items validated in advance).
Report to the address provided when booking your appointment, within the time slot allocated to you. Opening hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Wasal teams perform a unit-by-unit quantitative and qualitative check on your entire shipment. Any non-compliant product may be refused or returned at your expense.
Processing times on receipt
The times you observe between your stock arriving at the warehouse and being placed on the shelves depend on the volume delivered:
| Quantity delivered | Processing time |
|---|---|
| Fewer than 3 pallets | 24 hours |
| 4 pallets or more | 48 hours |
| Express parcel delivery | Same day |
Standard product dimensions
To plan your storage and costs, the WFC classifies your products into three categories according to their maximum dimensions:
| Product type | Maximum dimensions |
|---|---|
| Small | 30 × 18 × 10 cm |
| Medium | 48 × 33 × 40 cm |
| Large | 80 × 80 × 80 cm |
Best practices to avoid penalties
A few simple rules will save you unnecessary fees:
- Cancel any appointment at least 24 hours in advance. A penalty applies if you fail to show up for a deposit appointment without having cancelled it in time.
- Check the compliance of each item before deposit. A penalty applies for each purchase order containing non-compliant items.
- Label your products and parcels clearly before delivery.
- Always include a complete, legible delivery note (BL) and packing list.
- Only deliver products that are non-expired, functional and legal — any dangerous, counterfeit or non-compliant goods will be refused.
Stock rotation policy
To prevent your products from sitting idle in the warehouse and generating unnecessary fees, the WFC actively monitors your stock rotation:
- You receive a weekly report detailing the turnover rate of your products.
- If an item stays 30 days without any movement (date of the last order), Wasal contacts you to propose either a commercial operation (promotion, discount) to clear the stock, or retrieval of the goods.
- A total of 3 reminders are sent to you, with 10 days between each notification.
- If no response is received within 30 days following the first notification, the products are considered abandoned (FORFEIT).
In the event of abandonment, Wasal reserves the right to dispose of the products as it deems appropriate: destruction, recycling, donation to a charity, or resale. No compensation is owed to the seller in the event of abandonment. Always respond to the weekly reports to keep control of your stock.
Fees and pricing
The WFC service is billed according to a pricing schedule detailed in your consignment contract, which covers handling (inbound and outbound), storage by size and duration, retrieval outside of a customer order, and additional services (labeling, shrink-wrapping, inventory, etc.).
To obtain the up-to-date schedule or a quote for your volumes, contact [email protected] or your Wasal account manager.
Responsibilities
On Wasal's side
Wasal is responsible for your products from their receipt at the warehouse until their shipment to the end customer (or their return to your address if you request a retrieval). To protect you, Wasal takes out on your behalf a comprehensive insurance policy covering:
- Theft of consigned products
- Fires
- Water damage
- Accidental damage related to storage
The cost of this insurance is included in your storage fees. Wasal is not responsible for counterfeit or non-compliant products that you may have delivered to us.
On the seller's side
Your products remain your exclusive property until their delivery to the end customer. You are responsible for:
- The compliance of everything you consign: quantity, quality, size, color, brand and references.
- The accuracy of the information provided to Wasal (quantity, technical specifications, quality).
- The clear and legible labeling of products and parcels before delivery, in accordance with Wasal standards.
- The legality of your products — you release Wasal from all liability in the event of seizure, customs dispute or complaint related to intellectual property.
- The replacement or removal at your expense of any non-compliant, damaged or prohibited product, following a quality check or a customer complaint.
If a non-compliant or defective product is detected on receipt or following a customer return, you undertake to replace it at your expense or to proceed with an immediate refund according to the terms agreed with Wasal.
