COD (cash on delivery)
Cash On Delivery: the customer pays in cash when they receive their parcel. It is the most widespread payment method in Moroccan e-commerce.
COD stands for Cash On Delivery, meaning "payment on delivery": the customer pays for their order in cash to the courier, at the moment they receive their parcel. It is the most widespread payment method in Moroccan e-commerce, as it reassures buyers who are hesitant to pay online.
For example, a customer orders a pair of shoes on Wasal and chooses cash on delivery: you prepare the parcel as usual, and the courier collects the amount upon handover.
In the Seller Portal, this method appears in the Payment type column of the order list.
