Centre Monétique Interbancaire: the Moroccan organization that processes online bank card payments, including those made by your customers on Wasal.
CMI stands for Centre Monétique Interbancaire. It is the Moroccan organization that processes online bank card payments: when a customer pays by card on an e-commerce site in Morocco, the transaction goes through CMI's secure platform.
For example, a customer who pays for their Wasal order by bank card sees their transaction validated by CMI before the order reaches you.
For you as a seller, this is the alternative to cash on delivery (COD): the amount is collected online as soon as the order is placed, with no cash handling involved.
