AGV stands for Automated Guided Vehicles. These are autonomous robots that move around a warehouse and shift mobile shelving units to bring products directly to operators at the moment of picking.
Example: instead of a picker walking hundreds of meters of aisles, the robot slides underneath the shelf holding the ordered item and brings it right to their workstation.
