3PL
Third-Party Logistics: an outside logistics provider that collects and delivers your parcels. The collected, in transit and delivered statuses of your orders come from them.
3PL stands for Third-Party Logistics. It is an outside logistics provider that collects your parcels and delivers them to customers on your behalf.
Example: you mark an order as ready on the portal; the assigned 3PL carrier (POWER DELIVERY, FUTURAMA, etc.) comes to collect the parcel, then handles delivery all the way to the customer.
On Wasal, the history of each order displays the events reported by the 3PL: COLLECTED, DELIVERING and DELIVERED. These transitions are automatic: once you have marked the order as ready, you have nothing more to do, the tracking updates on its own.
